On the morning of February 21, 2025, at the KIM LONG MOTOR Hue automobile manufacturing and assembly complex, the handover ceremony of 10 KIMLONG B55 citybuses to Ha Son Tourism Transport Joint Stock Company took place. This event marks a significant milestone, reaffirming KIM LONG MOTOR’s commitment to supporting transport businesses and contributing to the development of a modern and convenient public transportation system in Vietnam.

Mr. Ho Cong Hai – Permanent Deputy General Director of KIM LONG MOTOR Hue – presented flowers and the keys to Mr. Le Viet Hai – Deputy General Director of Ha Son Tourism Transport Joint Stock Company.

Ha Son Tourism Transport Joint Stock Company is a reputable transportation brand with many years of experience in passenger transport in Northern Vietnam. In addition to its well-established interprovincial transport routes, the company is expanding its operations by launching an urban bus system in Lao Cai province. Choosing the KIMLONG B55 citybus is part of a well-planned investment strategy aimed at improving service quality and meeting the travel demands of local residents.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of Ha Son Tourism Transport Joint Stock Company emphasized that the company prioritizes quality and operational efficiency when selecting passenger service vehicles. After careful research, the company highly values the suitability of the KIMLONG B55 citybus for actual operational needs. “We believe this partnership will open up new opportunities, enhance public transport quality in Lao Cai, and better serve the increasing travel demands of both residents and tourists” the representative highlighted.

The fleet of KIMLONG B55 citybuses, featuring striking yellow and green colors, was officially handed over to Ha Son.

The KIMLONG B55 bus is designed and developed to optimize urban mobility, contributing to an improved public transportation system in Vietnam. The bus has a total capacity of 55 passengers, including 22 seats and 33 standing spaces, catering to the high demand for urban commuting. Its dimensions (Length x Width x Height) are 8,350 x 2,350 x 3,050 mm, with a wheelbase of 4,200 mm, ensuring flexible movement within city streets.

The KIMLONG B55 is equipped with a new-generation WEICHAI engine meeting Euro 5 emission standards. Its dependent suspension system, air suspension, and hydraulic shock absorbers provide a smooth ride. Additionally, the dual-circuit pneumatic drum brake system, integrated with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), enhances safety during operation.

KIMLONG brand citybuses were successfully handed over to customers

Following the handover ceremony, all 10 KIMLONG B55 citybuses will officially be put into operation on two urban bus routes in Lao Cai province: Route 03 (Lao Cai Central Bus Station – Den Thuong) and Route 09 (Lao Cai Central Bus Station – Duye Hai Junction, Kim Thanh – Bat Xat District Bus Station). In the near future, the company plans to further upgrade its urban bus system with more modern vehicles to meet the growing travel demands of Lao Cai’s residents and tourists.
