On the afternoon of February 19, a working delegation led by Central Party Committee Member and Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, Mr. Le Truong Luu, visited and worked at the KIM LONG MOTOR Hue automobile manufacturing and assembly complex. This visit is part of a series of inspections and assessments of key projects in the area, demonstrating the local government's interest in industrial development, particularly in the automobile manufacturing and assembly sector—a strategic industry with a significant impact on the city's socio-economic development.

Delegation inspects land clearance progress for the KIM LONG MOTOR Hue automobile manufacturing and assembly complex project

The delegation included Mr. Dang Ngoc Tran - Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the City Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Director of Hue City Police and Mr. Hoang Hai Minh - Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee. On behalf of KIM LONG MOTOR Hue, the delegation was welcomed by Mr. Truong Dinh Trung - Board Member of KIM LONG MOTOR Hue; Mr. Dao Viet Anh - General Director along with other members of the leadership team of KIM LONG MOTOR Hue JSC.

During the meeting, representatives from Phu Loc district authorities and relevant departments reported on the progress of land clearance for the KIM LONG MOTOR Hue automobile manufacturing and assembly complex. The project covers a planned total area of over 600 hectares, with more than 164 hectares of land already reclaimed for the first phase. Land clearance and resettlement support for affected households are being implemented according to a schedule that ensures a balance between economic development and the rights of local residents.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Le Truong Luu commended KIM LONG MOTOR Hue for its efforts in project implementation. He emphasized: "The KIM LONG MOTOR Hue automobile manufacturing and assembly complex is one of the key projects that hold significant importance for the economic development of Hue City. Therefore, relevant units must closely coordinate to accelerate land clearance progress, creating favorable conditions for the enterprise to commence construction as soon as possible while ensuring the rights and livelihoods of affected households."

As part of the visit, the delegation also conducted a direct inspection of the production activities at the KIM LONG MOTOR Hue automobile manufacturing and assembly complex. This large-scale industrial project is expected to contribute to industrial development in the former imperial capital region. The successful implementation of the project will not only create jobs for thousands of local workers but also significantly contribute to the growth of Vietnam's automobile industry.

The visit and working session of Hue City’s leadership at KIM LONG MOTOR Hue reaffirmed the local government's commitment to supporting businesses investing in the area. This is a crucial motivation for enterprises to accelerate project implementation, enhance production activities, and positively contribute to the economic and social development of Hue City and the central region as a whole.
