PRODUCTION EMPLOYEES PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING ON "WASTE SORTING AT THE SOURCE"

From November 17 to November 28, 2023, KIM LONG Motors organized a specialized training on 'Waste sorting at the source" for 219 employees in the production unit.

In addition to business and production activities, KIM LONG Motors consistently prioritizes environmental protection. The goal of "Waste sorting at the source" training program is to enhance the awareness of employees regarding the importance of waste sorting in general and specifically during their involvement in production at the KIM LONG Motors Automobile, Parts & Components Production Complex.

At the training program, representatives from the Occupational Safety Department introduced the concepts of various types of waste, skills, and the benefits of waste sorting at the source. Waste is categorized into four main groups, including: general solid waste, hazardous waste, wastewater, and air emissions. In the manufacturing environment at KIM LONG Motors, employees are likely to encounter and deal with general solid waste and hazardous waste. Each type of waste has specific collection and sorting regulations, suitable for proper management.

Mr. Pham Hong Son, Deputy Director of Production, stated: "KIM LONG Motors always recognizes that economic development must go hand in hand with environmental protection and social development. Therefore, organizing this training program is significant in spreading the correct awareness to all employees, especially the workers directly involved in production at the factory."

After the training program, employees were able to identify and proficiently sort waste at the source, becoming more proactive in their work. These small actions partially demonstrate the company's responsibility towards environmental protection.

In addition to raising awareness, KIM LONG Motors continually invests in equipment and modernizes infrastructure to minimize environmental impact. Simultaneously, the company emphasizes research and development of products that align with general development trends, contributing to the establishment of a 'green automotive' industry in the future.
